Over the last ten years, we have toured extensively throughout the US and Canada as a duo. We decided early on in our joined careers that we would devote ourselves to working within the music industry with a DIY philosophy building a grassroots fanbase. This has given us profound insight into not only the artistic freedom that is afforded to independent musicians, but also the challenges of navigating the shifting sands of the modern music business.

Aside from producing our own releases, we’ve acted as a low-budget pseudo record label for up-and-coming artists, assisting in all aspects of production/release (including, but not limited to: song coaching, studio production, photography, album art, and distribution administration assistance), working out of our fully analog home studio, Electric Wreck, in rural Burnside, LA.  Since the studio's inception we've helped more than 25 artists in the production of their original works—for many, this was their first studio experience.

We recently moved our working studio to an expansive collective shared space in Baton Rouge that provides a more spacious live room and a dedicated control room. With the added space, we’ve expanded our services to include professional live capture videography (Clay captures audio while Jodi captures video)…in keeping with our endeavor to arm budding creatives with valuable tools and resources to further their respective careers.

Clay began working with analog tape when he made his first record, The Wind and the Warble, in 2011. His ever-increasing knowledge and experience has made him a regionally sought-after figure in the niche realm of analog recording (contact us here for studio rates).

Jodi’s extensive background in visual production includes: videography, photography, costuming for film, graphic design, interior design/consulting, visual merchandising, and various printing techniques (contact us here for project inquiries).

As artists ourselves, we know the value (and cost) of professional creative content, and consider it an extension of our mission and desire to truly and organically collaborate with like-minded folks and to invite into our fold new symbiotic relationships. Many artists lean toward introversion (ourselves included), and the thought of creating content specifically for social media engagement can feel forced and counterintuitive. With these live capture sessions, the content’s aim has deeper intention, which will hopefully resonate more widely.
